We’ve Got Good News If You Ordered The Acura ZDX

Deliveries of the all-new 2024 Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S have officially started. This SUV is the first electric vehicle from Acura. It’s available in just two trims, both of which qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit.

The base A-Spec starts at $64,500, making it more expensive than the Cadillac Lyriq. It’s rear-wheel drive with a single motor. This delivers 358 horsepower with 324 lb-ft of torque. It also has the highest range with 313 miles of driving per charge. There is also a dual-motor all-wheel drive A-Spec. It comes in at $68,500 with 490 hp, 437 lb-ft of torque, and 304 miles of range.

High-Performance Type S

Those who put a premium on performance have the Type S to consider. This trim is available only with dual motors and all-wheel drive. It has 499 horsepower, which is only a slight bump, but gets a much bigger increase on torque with 544 lb-ft. It also has the lowest range of the lot, with 278 miles per charge. It’s priced at $73,500.

Buying the ZDX isn’t like buying other Acura models. It’s available only through a new digital sales system. This lets customers fully configure their car, place their order online, and get an estimated delivery date. Customers can also purchase their ZDX through the Acura EV mobile app where they can track its delivery and utilize Acura Concierge by chat, email, or phone.

Multiple Charging Options

Charging the ZDX is easy, The vehicle comes equipped with a CCS port, but is compatible with NACS to take advantage of Tesla Superchargers. Acura, as a part of the Honda brand, is also part of the Ionna charging network.

This new network is set to open this year with a target of 30,000 high-powered charging stations at key locations nationwide. Additionally, ZDX customers can select from one of three charging packages that include home charging units, charging credits, and installation credits.
