More Than 1,000 Aftermarket Accessories Will Now Be Sold Through Mopar’s Network

There aren’t many brands that do special quite like Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. On top of countless special editions and different trim grades, the companies have Mopar, the long-enduring parts group within Stellantis dedicated almost solely to accessories. Now, Mopar, is expanding the range of available accessories in a rather surprising way.

The new Mopar Affiliated Accessories lineup includes more than 1,000 accessories to choose from, including approved aftermarket supplier partners. This gives owners loads of brands they already know with the backing and network of thousands of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealers across the US.

More Than 40 Brands To Start

To start, there are more than 40 partners in the Mopar Affiliated Accessories program. The brands include Thule roof racks, AccuAir suspension lifts, Competition Specialties (which includes Bilstein, WeatherTech, ARB, and Others), Dometic Coolers, Napier Tents, and others.

The available parts aren’t just mild accessories like racing stripes for your Ram 1500. There is some pretty serious hardware available here, like a four-inch lift for the Jeep Gladiator that comes from AccuAir and some Rock Slide Engineering step sliders. The list is full of accessories to make outdoor life easier as well, with hitch-mounted barbecues, custom-fit tents, and more.

Accessory and aftermarket parts are offered for new and old models, but here’s where things get interesting. They can be ordered and paid for at the dealership, just like you were ordering something from Mopar proper. When the parts come in, the dealer can also install them, be it on an older vehicle or something brand new.

As for warranty coverage, Mopar does guarantee that each accessory will fit the vehicle it’s meant for, but explained that the manufacturer of each accessory is responsible for warranty. We’ve reached out to ask if parts will get a longer warranty than normal, as well as to find out if you can combine the accessories into your loan on a new vehicle purchase. Look for an update on that soon.

Mopar Wants To Be Your Only Stop For Upgrades

Mopar is the Stellantis line of after-sale parts and accessories. It offers extras for nearly every Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicle, like seat covers and floor mats, but also replacement parts like filters and steering and suspension parts.

Through Mopar Performance, it offers even more extreme upgrades. We’re talking crate motors that range from stock 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines to a 354-cubic-inch Hemi Drag Pak engine with forged internals, and a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger. The branch of the company is even working on e-crate electric vehicle conversion kits for those looking to create silent muscle. Jeep and Dodge buyers are the most obvious customers of the brand, but there are plenty of accessory options for Ram trucks as well.

The Mopar name is literally the smashing together the company’s main products: MOtor PARts. The name was first used back in 1937, and it has become synonymous with Chrysler group vehicles through the decades. During the classic muscle car era, Mopar was arguably the name for Chrysler fans looking to go fast at the drag strip. Now, the name is used for the company’s dealer service departments as well as a massive lineup of parts, accessories, and merch – including ugly sweaters and acres of t-shirts.
