This One-Of-One Pagani Huayra Has Almost No Miles And Is For Sale

Pagani is still building its lovely Huayra super sports car despite the original allotment of 100 cars finishing production in 2018. Since then, various new special editions have continued the production run, either highlighting specific regions or locations, or upping the performance profile of the vehicle. If you have enough cash, you could probably still buy one of these very limited continuation cars, but considering the original car has been around since 2012, there are also plenty of them already out there if you don’t want to wait for the production line.

Now, First Motors in Dubai is selling a seemingly pristine example of a super-rare version of the Huayra from 2014 that has reportedly never been driven, with no mileage on the clock.

A Very Special Pagani Huayra

The 2014 Pagani Huayra that’s now up for sale in Dubai is reportedly the only officially titled “Carbon Edition” in the world, making this a one-of-one example of an already limited car. The Carbon Edition is called that because it was the first Huayra coupe with a fully exposed carbon fiber body and no paint, revealing the woven texture of the materials used to form the iconic sports car’s shape. The textured black exterior is matched with a bright red interior, and the listing claims there’s basically no mileage on the odometer, so it’s essentially still brand-new.

There’s Only One Street-Legal Pagani Huayra R In Existence

Lanzante turned the hardcore Huayra R into a road car without Pagani’s blessing, and so far there’s only one of them.

What’s Under All That Carbon Fiber?

The Huayra sports a 6.0-liter V12 gas engine supplied by Mercedes-AMG that’s good for 730 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, all sent through the car’s rear wheels. It also has a top speed of around 224 mph and can scoot from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.3 seconds, provided you can find enough traction for its steamroller tires. This being a coupe, it gets the cool roof-top hinged gullwing doors, and there are 19-inch wheels up front and 20-inch wheels at the rear.

It’s not clear how this example ended up in Dubai, nor why it has never been driven. It’s not a stretch to imagine somebody spending so much money could be gunshy to actually use it, lest someone crashes into it while gawking. But how could one resist the temptation for over a decade? At least we get to hear that glorious V12 fire up, courtesy of a video that First Motors has uploaded to YouTube.

More Huayras Still Happening

Since the Carbon Edition in 2014, Pagani has done more models, some with color-tinted exposed carbon body panels, but apparently none have directly copied this solo example. The latest version of the Huayra is the new R Evo model which is going into production now. The R Evo is an evolution of the Huayra R, now with 888 horsepower, new fender work, a larger rear wing, lightweight paneling, aero fins, new wheels, and new front/rear splitter designs. It’s expected to do battle against the new Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Gordon Murray T50 super sports cars.
