The upgraded Agera R got exterior and interior upgrades as well as an undisclosed amount of extra power

- This Agera R was sent back to the Angleholm factory to be overhauled.
- The car now features an extensively modified interior with CC850 parts.
- Koenigsegg’s Legends Division built the one-off Chimera last year.
Long after its debut, the Koenigsegg Agera R still turns heads. It helped cement the Swedish automaker’s place among the hypercar elite, combining wild performance with innovative engineering. With a ferocious twin-turbo V8 under the hood, it gave the Bugatti Veyron something to think about, and in RS form, it remains one of the fastest production cars ever made.
Now, Koenigsegg has completed a new version of the Agera R, though it’s not quite what you’d expect.

While the original Agera R was succeeded by the Jesko several years ago, Koenigsegg’s Legends Division has taken on the task of modernizing and refining an existing Agera. The result is a uniquely tailored machine, built specifically for the brand’s official UK dealer, Supervettura, and it showcases an array of thoughtful upgrades both inside and out.
Reworked Design with Signature Touches
Most of the bodywork is finished in a deep shade of green that has been contrasted with red pinstripes and exposed carbon fiber elements. The entire exterior has then received Koenigsegg’s Diamond-Like Coating (DLC).
Then there’s the cabin. Immediately making this Agera R stand out from not only all others, but also all other Koenigseggs is the bespoke instrument cluster that uses similar circular gauges to the CC850, but now positioned in a unique array and with a small sunshade sitting above them.
Additionally, the Swedish company has fitted seats similar to those from the limited-run One:1, complete with racing harnesses. According to Christian von Koenigsegg, they have also fettled the engine to deliver more grunt, although he hasn’t said just how much more power has been added to the car.
A Growing Role for the Legends Division
Little has been said about Koenigsegg’s Legends Division, but last year, it unveiled the one-off Chimera, based on an Agera RS but using the Jesko’s engine and the manual transmission of the CC850. It seems entirely possible that, much like Pagani does with the Zonda, Koenigsegg will start to upgrade, rebuild, and modify some of its older models.
