Urban Automotive Makes A Widebody Rolls Cullinan With Lots Of Class

A British tuning firm with horrible SEO has just launched another model that makes it clear that the company’s name is the only thing subtle about it. Urban Automotive makes widebody expansions for Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, Lamborghini, Audi, and more. Its latest creation addresses the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a vehicle that already has a portly profile.

Say hello to the (deep breath) Rolls-Royce Cullinan Redefined by Urban. It made its debut today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, complete with some immense wheels to help set off those extremely wide fenders.

Urban is based in Milton Keynes, which is the heart of the UK’s Motorsport Valley. It’s where you’ll find F1 teams like Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-AMG Petronas. It’s where McLaren’s tech center is based, and it is where thousands of workers toil making some seriously high-performance machines. In short, it’s the perfect place for anyone who wants a taste of the aftermarket auto industry. Especially if you want to be a carbon fiber specialist like Urban.

The company calls itself “the UK’s foremost luxury vehicle styling provider,” and it has a stated goal of delivering an OEM Plus design. That’s more than stock, but not too much more. Honestly, after covering years of Mansory tomfoolery, one could do worse than the widebody Cullinan presented here.

This Rolls Has A Lot Of Carbon, But Most Of It Is Hidden

Very deep black paint makes it tougher to see exactly what Urban has done to this Cullinan, but also to some extent, that’s the point. It has a wide range of new parts, including a new carbon fiber hood with exposed details, a new front bumper with extended blades and new LED running lights, a two-piece front splitter, and front upper vent overlays. Urban has also added wider sills, a new rear bumper, an anodized aluminum tailpipe, and a pair of rear spoilers. Everything, except for those pipes, is made from carbon. Much of it is painted, but some of it has exposed pieces or details to help show off.

What Makes Kim Kardashian’s Range Rover Worth $306,000?

English tuning house Urban Automotive designed the SUV to the celebrity’s exact specifications.

We didn’t mention the fenders in that paragraph, but they are the centerpoint of the design. Though instead of completely new fenders or bulky overfenders, this widebody is done in a much more subtle way. These are more like fender flares, but they’re body color and not gray plastic. It’s subtle but effective, making the Rolls wider visually without making it into a caricature.

Can 24-Inch Wheels Look Small?

24-inch Vossen wheels somehow don’t look out of place. They, too, are painted black, and they fit the wider arches perfectly. This does look more like a factory fit than a post-sale tuning house.

As you might expect, the Urban Automotive Cullinan widebody isn’t cheap. Prices starts from £449,995, which is just north of $610,000 in US greenbacks. Considering this is a Rolls-Royce targeted at buyers who want something extra special, the cost is likely of little concern.

We Bet Mansory Fixing A Rolls-Royce Wasn’t On Your 2024 Bingo Card

Mansory fixes the new Cullinan’s slanted jawline. But at what cost?

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan uses a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 that makes 563 horsepower in standard form or 591 in the Black Badge. Since Urban said it replaced the hood but didn’t mention what was underneath, we’ll assume both of those figures remain as they were.
