Aston Martin Designed And Built This Luxury Home In Japan

Aston Martin, the British automotive luxury brand, has reminded us it’s a luxury brand by announcing the launch of its first ultra-luxury residence in Japan. The four-story private residence is located in Tokyo’s Omotesandō neighborhood and has “a curated selection of premium Italian furnishings.”

While we already know this house is sold, we can’t help but muse about the implications of an automaker also building your house. In this case, your ideal two-car garage could contain a pair of Aston Martins – a DBX707 and a Vantage perhaps – parked in your Aston Martin garage attached to your Aston Martin house. How meta is that?

A House For The Ultra-Rich

The four-story residence features a gym, a wine cellar, a dedicated space for a golf simulator system, and a private spa. Presumably, the listing of three en-suite bathrooms means it has three bedrooms. Per Aston Martin’s press release, there’s also a fantastic art gallery in the house. It’s found on the ground floor and is described as “one of the most significant aspects of the design,” presenting “two vehicles as if they were sculptural works of art, complete with adaptive lighting and a wave-texture metal ceiling.” Hey, wait a minute, Aston Martin. Something sounds fishy here.

Yes, what us mere mortals call a garage is now an “automotive gallery,” and the art is the Aston Martin vehicles parked in it. Cynicism of florid marketing speak aside, it’s a slick idea that we wish we could afford. For enthusiasts, one of the issues of parking your beloved car in an average garage is that you can’t see it. The idea of being able to see your car while having a couple of cocktails with friends sounds great.

A Meeting Of Design Disciplines

This Aston Martin home isn’t simply a case of Aston Martin hiring a company to do the work. The automaker’s real estate projects group brought in actual company designers and teamed up with VIBROA Inc. – a business that specializes in all aspects of luxury-branded residences, specifically providing unique property maintenance and management schemes as well as private banking, family education support, and concierge services.

Aston Martin vehicles are fast, but which are the fastest ones on sale in the USA in 2025?

From the photos, we can see that the location is as stunning as the interior design, the materials chosen, and the dedication to detail. Aston Martin had a deep hand in everything, down to the material specifications and the furniture. It even includes an integrated Bowers & Wilkins audio system, the same brand you’ll find providing the audio in Aston Martin’s vehicles.

Aston Martin says this project is symbolic of its expansion into Japan specifically, and the Asian market generally. It follows the opening of the Aston Martin Ginza showroom in The Peninsula Tokyo hotel last year, as well as the Aston Martin Tokyo dealership in Minato, one of the city’s largest business districts.
