- A new Bentayga EWB left the factory painted in Candy Pink with black accents.
- Customers can spec out their dream Bentayga interior, too, with custom leather finishes.
- An impressive 70 percent of all Bentley customers opt for at least one Mulliner feature.
SUVs don’t get much more special than the Bentley Bentayga. With the option of a powerful twin-turbo V8, a twin-turbo W12, or a plug-in hybrid V6, plus a bold exterior design and an incredibly luxurious cabin, it’s very special indeed. However, for some, a run-of-the-mill Bentayga isn’t special enough. That’s where the automaker’s Mulliner bespoke studio comes in.

Bentley says that 70 percent of its customers now opt for at least one Mulliner feature in their car. That’s especially noteworthy when you consider that its standard palette already offers 46 billion different color and trim options. The Mulliner program now offers 111 unique exterior paints, although shoppers can order a custom, one-off finish, if they so desire. Of course, doing so doesn’t come cheap. Standard colors include solids, metallics, pearlescents, and satins.

After being contacted by a customer from the US, Mulliner was recently tasked with creating a Bentayga unlike any other. This extended-wheelbase model has been painted in Candy Pink with the Blackline Specification. That means that contrasting the pink paint are a slew of black accents, including the front grilles and air intakes, window surrounds, roof rails, tailpipes, and the wing vents.
Then there’s the cabin. Most of the interior surfaces are trimmed in black leather, but there is also Cherry Blossom contrast stitching and leather accents to match the exterior paint. As if that wasn’t enough, the customer has opted for Bentley’s airline seats with 22 ways of adjustment and an intricate massage function. According to Bentley, this is “the most advanced seat ever fitted to a car.”
As the owner is driven around and enjoys the expansive second row, she’ll also be able to sip on a red wine or a champagne thanks to the large drinks cooler and the two crystal flutes. A thumping Bang & Olufsen audio system will provide aural entertainment.
Bentley hasn’t disclosed the cost of the custom touches on this Candy Pink Bentayga, but they’re probably equivalent to a small house deposit. Would you dare go that far with one of the historic British brand’s models? Do let us know your thoughts in the comments.
