MegaRexx, which is part of a larger group of custom vehicle shops under the Signature Autosports name, has become known for its enormous Ford Super Duty-based trucks. The whole idea behind the trucks is that they take some of the looks and ideas of the F-150 Raptor, apply them to the larger trucks, while also making everything huge. The company is showing no signs of slowing down, and it has recently finished one of its pickup trucks, which is now available for sale. It started as a 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor, but is so much more now: in both capability and cost.
The Things That Make Up An Original MegaRexx
The thing that’s a bit funny about starting with an F-150 Tremor, is that much of what makes the Tremor a worthwhile upgrade for off-roading over a regular Super Duty, ends up being replaced in the MegaRexx transformation. MegaRexx replaces an enormous portion of the suspension. It results in a lift of 4.5 inches over a standard Super Duty (the Tremor is lifted 2 inches at the front compared to a regular model). The company replaces the springs with sets from Icon, sticking with coils at the front and leaves at the back, and the shocks are swapped with remote-reservoir Fox Racing 2.5 units. MegaRexx also replaces radius arms with its in-house pieces, and the track bars and steering stabilizers with examples from Icon and Fox respectively.
The Tremor’s 35-inch tires also go away in favor of 46-inch Michelins wrapped around 20-inch rock ring-equipped aluminum wheels used for mine-resistant military trucks. The company also fits 4.88:1 ratio gears to the differentials to make up for the huge wheels and tires, and it readjusts the speedometer to read correctly. And being the Tremor, it will also have a electronic locking rear differential and a limited-slip front differential. Plus, it features the Trail Control off-road cruise control system and a unique rock-crawling drive mode. This one also happens to use the turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8 and 10-speed automatic, rather than the 7.3-liter gas engine. MegaRexx leaves these components alone, but the engine still produces a healthy 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque.
Those are all the major mechanical modifications, but that’s obviously not the end of MegaRexx’s changes. In part because it looks cool, and also to make sure the giant tires fit under the arches, the company fits custom fiberglass body work. This includes new rear fenders and a one-piece, forward-tilting front clip, all of which are made in-house. Between the tires and the fender changes, the MegaRexx truck is 18-inches wider than a stock Super Duty. The company also fits steel off-road bumpers, a sport bar over the bed, and a bevy of LED light bars. A big skid plate helps protect things underneath, and power side steps help the driver and passengers get in and out.

A Big Truck Gets A Big Price
MegaRexx has listed this pickup for $179,950. The price is for this specific truck, since the cost can vary for individual orders, depending on what the customer wants. That’s also clearly not cheap. You can get a completely new F-250 Lariat Tremor for a little under $85,000. Though, as we’ve covered, the MegaRexx will be able to get to places a regular Tremor couldn’t even contemplate. Not only that, but people won’t turn to look at a Tremor like they will a MegaRexx.
