Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Reveals Two Wings And Confirms Goodwood Reveal

First teased with the reveal of the facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 6, then again in a social media teaser showing its girth, the Ioniq 6 N is doing a good job of stimulating our senses. The Korean automaker knows that and has released another set of teasers for its Tesla Model 3 Performance killer. Even better, we now know exactly when the electric sports sedan will debut.

According to Hyundai, the Ioniq 6 N has a streamlined silhouette engineered for high-speed stability and enhanced aerodynamics. These upgrades include flared fenders, a widened stance, lightweight wheels, and a prominent wing. The huge wing acts as the second aero element at the back right above the ducktail spoiler, exuding a styling that’s just as wild as the RN22e Concept it was based on.

Looking Just As Wild As The Concept It’s Based On

Unsurprisingly, not many details have been revealed by Hyundai about the Ioniq 6 N, except that it will abide by the N Performance Division’s three pillars: ‘Corner Rascal,’ ‘Racetrack Capability,’ and ‘Everyday Sports Car.’ So, yes, we’re expecting the newest N model to have impressive cornering, track-ready performance, and the right balance of daily usability and sporty dynamics.

It hasn’t been over 10 years since Hyundai first ventured into making fun cars, represented with just one letter.

“Ioniq 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment to deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans,” said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group. “We chose to debut the IONIQ 6 N at Goodwood Festival of Speed to be as close to our fans as possible.”

Hyundai’s Star At This Year’s Goodwood

As for the exact powertrain details, mum’s the word for now, but you can refer to the brilliant Ioniq 5 N for some ideas. The electric performance crossover churns out a maximum of 641 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque (with N Grin Boost engaged), allowing a 0-60 mph sprint of under four seconds. The Ioniq 5 N’s N Active Sound+ and N e-Shift are also expected in the hotted-up electric sedan.

Few EVs have the ability to entice and entertain even the EV agnostics.

As mentioned, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N will debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, happening on July 10-13, 2025, in West Sussex, England. Interestingly, the upcoming debut will be a callback to the time the RN22e Concept made an unfortunate appearance in 2023. Hopefully, the production model will redeem itself in front of the attendees at the annual hill climb and outdoor auto show.
