Manhart Creates A Far More Powerful Porsche 911 Than Porsche

Manhart Performance is known for turning BMWs into incredible machines, though it occasionally dabbles in tuning Porsches such as the near 1,000-horsepower 911 GT2 RS introduced earlier this year. The German tuner has been back at making go-faster 911s recently, but this time, it turned its attention to the 911 Turbo S, taking it to supercar-levels of power output that Porsche has yet to produce.

Called the Manhart TR 900 II, the base vehicle is the 992-generation 911 Turbo S, with a stock output of 641 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque from the rear-mounted 3.8-liter flat-six engine. Upon leaving Wuppertal, the TR 900 II has an immense uprate in output: 909 hp and 804 lb-ft of torque, or over 40% increase in power.

It’s Got The Whole Shebang

Those figures were achieved by the German tuning firm by employing a bevy of upgrades, including its own branded turbo kit, ECU remapping, stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, and race downpipes with 200-cell catalytic converters. Manhart also upgraded the PDK gearbox to handle the additional power. However, the carbon-ceramic brakes has been kept stock, though optional upgrades are available.

Manhart also altered the stance of the Porsche 911 Turbo S for an even sportier demeanor. Using H&R lowering springs, it has been lowered by 30mm or around 1.18 inches on this side of the pond. The standard gloss black Concave One forged wheels come with staggered sizing (9.5×21 front, 12×22 back) to match the aggressive stance, with customers having the option to customize its finish.

Altered Looks In Black And Blue

Visually, the Manhart TR 900 II comes with aero kits by Moshammer, which include a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. In the sample vehicle, the two-tone blue body is accentuated by gloss black accents and racing strips that run through the hood and the rear end.

The two-tone black and blue theme continues inside, with the black leather adorned with blue stitching and other accents. Even the seatbelts are blue, as is Porsche key fob. To keep its exclusivity, Manhart’s emblem also replaced the Stuttgart shield on the tiller, while the floor mats are also branded by the tuning company.

The pricing for the Manhart TR 900 II isn’t disclosed, but we’re sure it isn’t for those with shallow bank accounts.
