Miami Armored might sound like a great brand of sunscreen, but it’s a company that makes high-security vehicles for a wide range of uses. From full-on armored bank trucks to a bullet-stopping Toyota Camry. The latest from the company is designed to keep you connected as well as secure from threats when you’re on the move.
For the executive on the go, Miami Armored offers a jet-like Cadillac Escalade limo that can protect from rifles and grenade blasts. Now it offers Starlink satellite internet, so you can still send that crucial email when you’re under fire and on the move.
360 Armor Protection For Escalade Owners
We’ll start with the hard parts. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade gets 360-degree protection from layers of ballistic steel. Under the factory sheet metal hides a cocoon built more like an MRAP. It has multi-layer glass, protection for the battery, ECU, and fuel tank, reinforced door hinges, and run-flat tires. Miami Armored says the SUV meets BR6 specifications, so it can stop 7.62 mm rifle rounds and the impact of a pair of grenades going off underneath.

BMW Bulletproof Department You’ve Never Heard Of Is 45 Years Old
For almost half a century, BMW has produced armored cars for the world’s wealthiest and most important indivduals around the world.
This is the Chairman limo model, meant to offer private jet comfort to high-value occupants on the move. The Escalade’s cabin has been transformed, starting with all-new seats.
Where the factory Escalade had normal SUV seats with room for five or six, the Chairman has just four. Two facing rear against the front bulkhead and two facing forward. The forward-facing seats recline and have extending footrests. The rear-facing seats are jump seats, meant for your PA, not a person you’re concerned with.
Other luxury touches inside include a massive TV on the front wall, plus premium audio with touchscreen interfaces for control. Nearly everything is lined with leather, and while you can barely see out, you might not want to.
For increased security, buyers can add strobe lights, night vision, and “other tactical features.” Wink. Then there is the roof-mounted Starlink system. Miami Armored says the roof-mount receiver can ensure a constant connection to the internet. It can withstand extreme weather and has ice-melting capabilities in the cold.
Starlink Receiver Keeps You Connected Under Fire
The Starlink receiver itself isn’t armored. But putting armor over a satellite dish doesn’t exactly make for good reception. Plus, it’s on the roof, which offers at least some protection from grenade blasts under or beside the SUV.
This Escalade uses its stock V8, a 6.2-liter engine that makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It’s a beefy engine, but for weight-carrying like this you might want to reach out to someone like Hennessey for a little more oomph. Miami Armored said the suspension has been upgraded, which should help make sure it drives more or less like a standard SUV. Or at least more like one with a hefty load of cargo in the back.
