Jeep’s quest to offer special edition packages for every possible Wrangler and Gladiator pricing niche has brought it to the vehicle you see here. It’s the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Dark Sky, and it follows a tried-and-true formula of offering dark trim to add some design flare. Additionally, it opens up an option not usually offered on the Sport S. But if you’re not that interested in the design changes, you might be better off saving the money for different options.
What You Get
Like many black-out packages, the Gladiator Dark Sky gets a full complement of dark-colored badging, plus hood stickers denoting the design package. Various trim is finished in gloss black, particularly inserts in the bumpers, and the wheels are finished in a dark color, too. To Jeep’s credit, it does more than these basics. Body-colored fender flares are included, which are otherwise not available on the Sport S. Jeep also adds the same hood that the Mojave models get, which features an enormous air scoop. Finally, the Dark Sky package makes it possible to add a body-color hardtop, another feature that would normally be locked behind an expensive Premium Package ($4,295).
What It Costs
The package costs $1,495, and that doesn’t include the optional hardtop. Added to a Gladiator Sport S with no other options, and the MSRP comes to $43,095. With the $1,995 destination charge, the total is $45,090. The package is reasonably priced for coming with a number of extra-cost body features. In fact, the hood alone, before being painted, has a retail price of $825 from Jeep. Plus, the Sport S-based Dark Sky has more amenities than the Sport-based Nighthawk. The Nighthawk lacks the leatherette-covered steering wheel, automatic headlights, and adaptive cruise control of the Sport S and Dark Sky, despite having similar body-color components. The Dark Sky does end up costing about $2,500 more than a Nighthawk, though.

Orange you glad Jeep keeps adding new colors?
A similar price jump will get you from the Dark Sky to the even better-equipped High Tide. Basically, this package seems like a decent enough deal if you like the looks and if this Jeep fits your budget. If you’re a little more strapped for cash, or just care less about the appearance, a Sport S would probably be best. What Jeep is offering is one more way to make sure there’s a Gladiator variant for every group of buyers, no matter how small.
