After revealing the refreshed bZ SUV and the all-new CH-R not long ago, Toyota has now revealed a Woodland version of the former, adding some rugged flair to the vehicle formerly known as the bZ4X. This also makes it the third BEV in the Toyota lineup. For the cynics in the audience, Toyota notes that this is a slightly different vehicle, as it’s a little longer and a little more lifted.

Front-Wheel Drive
The Toyota bZ Woodland will only be available in one form, with 375 horsepower from its AWD electric drivetrain (with X-Mode). Toyota estimates around 260 miles of range from its 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery (which puts it on the lower end of the new bZ lineup) and can be recharged from 10-80% in roughly 30 minutes. Now that we’ve got the basics out of the way, let’s see what makes this different.
More Rugged Looks Paired With More Space
As you’d expect these days, the Woodland comes with an NACS port to access the majority of charging stations, along with Plug & Charge functions. The wide, black overfender elements give the car a more imposing look, but the keen-eyed may notice something else. This version is nearly 6 inches longer and almost an inch higher at the rear, offering 30 cubic feet of rear cargo space.

This Concept Could Have Been The Coolest Toyota Ever Made
There’s nothing cooler than a Toyota GR86, right? Wrong.
Ground clearance is measured at 8.3 inches, and you get roof rails as standard, again helping differentiate this from a regular bZ. Finally, you get 18-inch aluminum wheels with removable covers, and all-terrain rubber can be specified if you really do want to take it off-road. Towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds.
There Are Some Options
As standard, buyers get SofTex upholstery with heating in the front row, and available colors include Stone Brown and Black. Besides some new rubber, you can also add a Premium Package. This gives you three more speakers with a 9-speaker JBL Premium Audio setup, a fixed glass panoramic roof, a digital rearview mirror, ventilated front seats, and memory functions for the driver’s seat and the side-view mirrors. Separately, buyers can choose from five colors, the first of which is an all-new shade.

Finally, the major EV elements like the battery are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles.
Pricing will follow closer to the on-sale date, scheduled for sometime in early 2026.
