Darwin Pro Aero Showcases New Bodykit For G82 BMW M4

Calm yourselves. BMW has not released another special edition M4, inspired by Gotham, to join its Valentino Rossi and Nürburgring tributes. This eye-catching ‘Two Face’ example is instead the latest G82-specific bodykit being offered by North American tuner, Darwin Pro Aerodynamics Evolution.

The New York-based Darwin Pro first came to our attention in 2021 when it pulled the silks from a McLaren 720S made up to resemble Woking’s highest-performance Senna GTR. Since then, other notable Darwin Pro bodykits have included a 911 with elongated lashes and too much mascara, even a G82 M4 with a John Player Special livery. This two-tone, two-face red and black look, meanwhile, which, strangely enough, was not inspired by the DC Comics supervillain despite the comparative colors, showcases its new ‘BKSSII Style’ kit, which can be fitted to all G82/G83 M4s from 2021 onwards.

Not Keen On That Rear Wing? Just Opt For The $9k Front Fender Package

Prices for the full BKSSII Style bodykit start from $14,313 (as far as we can tell, that doesn’t include a scarred coin you can flip menacingly). For that, you get a bespoke grille that splits BMW’s controversially large kidney grilles into four quarters, as well as an enlarged front bumper and new hood – both featuring sharper CSL-style air intakes – and, naturally for a modded BMW, a more aggressive front diffuser.

Some additional air louvers have been added to the front fenders for good measure. Look past what appear to be a set of bronzed, 20-inch M forged double front wheels, and you’ll glimpse a new set of front wheel guards. too. and some new widebody rocker panels.

The rear is even more striking, replete as it is with a new rear bumper and a whopping great rear spoiler. Everything is sculpted using a blend of glass fiber and forged carbon fiber, aside from the bespoke exhaust tips, that is.

Should you find the exhausts, the fixed rear wing, and the bulging rear bumper a tad too ostentatious, Darwin Pro offers just the front mods and the side skirts as a separate, $9,656 package.

Don’t Hold Your Breath For Any Performance Upgrades

We’ll assume that Darwin Pro has made no adjustments to either the M4’s cabin nor the 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six, so this particular example probably boasts the same 473-horsepower and 406-lb-feet-of-torque output with which it left the factory.

If you’ve got this far into this story and either thought A) there were far too few Batman callbacks, or B) the BKSSII BMW was fine, if a little conservative, you may want to check out this gold leaf-clad Rolls-Royce Wraith, this Escalade IQ that makes even Mansory look reserved, and/or click here to see a Mansory-ified Ferrari Purosangue that will make you vomit through your eyelids.
