It’s a well-known fact that a set of Volk TE37s makes every car look better. That’s why they’re one of the best wheel designs of all time. But we normally see them on relatively normal cars. Rarely, but not never, do we see them on supercars. The one place they do not appear is on hypercars.
Not until now, that is. Vehicle designer and render guru Khyzyl Saleem, a.k.a. The Kyza, has (virtually) put a set of wheels on a car where we would never have expected to see them: a Ferrari F80.
Ultra-Exclusive Ferrari Gets The Wheels It Needs
Ferrari’s limited-edition F80 is a beast. It uses a hybrid powertrain that pairs a 3.0-liter twin-turbo gas engine with a trio of electric motors. The output from the engine alone is 888 horsepower, with the motors adding 296 for a total of 1,184 horsepower. The car has a top speed of 217 mph, and it can do 0-124 mph in under six seconds. It’s currently the fastest road car around Ferrari’s test track at Fiorano.
From the factory, there are two wheel choices. One, a five-spoke design with thin spokes but a star shape behind them coming out from the center. The other, the same design but made from carbon fiber instead of metal.

Ferrari has a good reason to not use its iconic engine on its hypercar.
The new wheels added by Saleem absolutely transform the car. The deep bronze wheel and its iconic six-spoke design pair perfectly with the deep green paint in this rendering. The F80 isn’t exactly a beautiful car, but an iconic color combination with an iconic wheel goes a long way toward helping make it one.
One More Change Makes The F80 Perfect
There are some other big changes, though, that play a part in making this Ferrari F80 more pleasing to the eye. From the factory, each of the 799 copies of the F80 is burdened with a big black glossy strip across the nose. The roof and A-pillars are finished in the same way. It’s not a great choice on the part of Ferrari, especially since it isn’t exposed carbon fiber or something fancy to help it make sense.
The Kyza has, wisely, changed both of those elements. The nose panel, as well as the roof panel and pillars, are now all in a matching body color. Going fully green might not be easy, but based on how this car looks, it is absolutely worth it.

We’re not able to confirm, but it also looks like he made the F80 lower. The tires seem to fill the broad wheel arches better than they do on the stock version of the car. A track-ready Ferrari, though, is already quite low. So if you decide you want these wheels on yours, you might want to skip the lowering.
We weren’t sure if the classic TE37s were sold in sizes large enough for this car’s 20-inch front and 21-inch rear K1 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires that are designed specifically for the car. But it turns out that the TE37 is available in a dizzying array of sizes, from 12 inches all the way up to 24 inches in diameter.
