When we first drove the Jeep Wagoneer S EV earlier this year, we loved a lot of things about it. Its powerful performance, its luxurious interior, and its impressive range and charging speeds, for a start.
What we didn’t like was the price. With just one trim available, starting from $70,795 plus destination, this was an expensive small crossover. A lower-priced Limited model has come out since then, but even with that, it turns out we weren’t the only ones who balked at the price. But there’s good news now, because Jeep dealers are offering more than $25,000 off the new SUV, and that means some incredible deals.
Wagoneer S Is Quickly Approaching Half-Price Discounts
The cheapest brand-new 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S listed on Cars.com is at Taverna CDJR in Plantation, Florida. The dealer is offering the $66,995 Wagoneer S for $38,596. That’s a $28,399 discount. Better yet, the price is slashed out, which is dealer ad talk for “come in, and you might even get a better deal.”
That low price comes with some very low lease payments, too. The dealer is advertising $509/month for 24 months, putting your total outlay for two years at just $12,216. Not bad for an EV that comes with 600 horsepower, 294 miles of range, and is very well-equipped. If you want to buy, you can get 1.9 percent for 72 months, with both offers good until June 3.
It’s not just a one-off, either. Taverna has more than a dozen Wagoneer S Limiteds, in different colors, all for under $40k. It even has a Launch model, which came with a sticker price of $72,590, for just $43,087. $29,503 off of the MSRP means a saving nearly big enough to buy one of the dealer’s new Grand Cherokees, listed starting from $30,560.

The first electric Jeep in the US delivers a fresh take on Jeep style while staying true to the brand’s heritage.
Taverna breaks that down, with $1,500 in consumer cash, $6,380 for the current Employee Pricing offer, $1,000 in finance assistance, and $4,000 in a “dealer provided rebate.” It also includes “$2,000 trade assistance,” which normally means an extra credit on your trade that may or may not pan out like you want, and the current $7,500 federal tax credit for an EV, as well as a $6,858 dealer discount.
This Isn’t Just One Store, But Some Still Want Markups
This isn’t the only dealer making big offers, though it is advertising the largest. There are more than 100 Wagoneer S models advertised for under $50,000. And if one dealer is slashing prices that much, others will surely follow. Especially if you’re sitting in front of their sales desk.
On the flip side, there are some dealers who think that the S is popular enough for them to add markups. For example, San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, in California, is advertising what it calls a net price (which does not include taxes or dealer fees) of $82,790 – $10,000 more than MSRP. Though it does tell you there are employee pricing discounts and retail consumer cash, the site does not make it clear if it has already included those in the figure.

The Wagoneer S Looks Like A Jeep, But It’s Something Completely New
The Wagoneer S is the Jeep’s first global EV and brand head Bob Broderdorf believes it delivers a genuine Jeep experience in electrified form.
Jeep is struggling to sell its new EV. It moved 2,595 units in the first quarter of 2025, a number we’d more closely associate with a six-figure supercar. Discounts started almost immediately, and with prices like these, it will almost surely move more. With 5,400 units listed in stock on Jeep’s site, it has nearly half a year of sales just sitting. Unless the deals make that rate pick up.
