Standing out amongst the huge array of modified Mercedes-Benz G-Classes is not easy, but with its new Vintage line-up of Gs, Carlex Design has done just that. A few weeks after showcasing its unforgettable pink-on-pink creation, known as Rose, Carlex has pulled the covers off a handful of new models from the same Vintage family.

The brightest of them all is known as ‘Fiamma.’ Named after the Italian word for flame, it wears a vivid orange exterior inspired by Mediterranean sunsets and Sicilian oranges. The upper half of the body is finished in crisp white, while old-school chrome bumpers, door mirrors, and wheels bring the look together with a properly retro flair

Those who appreciate the retro feel of the G-Class Vintage but want something a little more subtle can look at the All Black version for inspiration. Finished entirely in black, it ditches the chrome accents found on most other Vintage Gs from Carlex, but still gets a completely re-trimmed interior in plush new leather, fittingly finished in black to mimic the outside.

Carlex Design Vintage G Rubino

We’re particularly fond of the Rubino. Its exterior is dominated by a deep shade of red inspired by a ruby, while the upper part is painted black. It then features custom black chrome and ruby red wheels, and a pair of black bumpers. The cabin looks fitting of a Maybach badge and comes complete with matching dark red and black leather. Found at the rear is a custom wooden floor. The wood trimmings also continue across the backrests of the rear seats.

Carlex Design Vintage G Sabbia

Another of Carlex’s Vintage Gs is Sabbia. It has a distinctive cream and white exterior finish with several chrome accents. This theme continues into the cabin with matching cream-colored leather and some small areas with light brown trimmings.

Rounding out this special series of G-Class models is ‘Fern.’ It has a deep green finish with white and chrome accents. The cabin of this model might just be the most eye-catching of all, with a deep shade of brown leather dominating most interior surfaces. Contrasting the brown are bright orange accents.
