Tesla Offering Massive Incentives On Cybertrucks To Move Old Inventory

The Tesla Cybertruck was once touted to have over a million reservations, but that has so far only translated to about 50,000 units delivered, and is apparently lacking demand now. To help move old inventory, Tesla is now offering some massive incentives, ranging from free so-called Full Self-Driving tech, to free access to the Supercharger network and lumps of cash chopped off the sticker price. There are deals to be had, if you can stomach driving one of the most controversial new vehicles ever produced.

If you access the Tesla.com inventory page, you can scroll through dozens of listings for Cybertrucks assembled in 2024, otherwise known as old inventory. Some of the vehicles are clearly listed as demo models with over 1,000 miles on the clock already, but others are listed as brand new and still with massive sales incentives.

Five Figures Off A New Cybertruck, Just Not A 2025 Model

In the U.S., you can get a 2024 Cyberbeast Foundation Series for $11,990 off the price, with similar deals for the standard AWD Cybertruck, too. Some listings go even further to include free lifetime access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, and in some cases, free so-called Full Self-Driving tech that was previously valued at $12,000.

Cheapest Tesla EV Won’t Arrive As Previously Planned

The new EV project is codenamed “E41” but it won’t be arriving in the US soon.

The dual-motor Foundation Series All-Wheel-Drive model gets 318 miles of range and can tow up to 11,000 pounds, making 600 horsepower. The tri-motor Cyberbeast is good for 300 miles of range, the same towing capacity, and 845 hp.

The Most Affordable New Cybertruck Is Not Incentivized

The most affordable and newer Long Range RWD trim does not appear to be incentivized, but that’s because it was discontinued in 2024 and has only recently returned as a 2025 model. As Tesla is trying to shift higher-specced, older inventory, the price you see is the price you get on that model. The range-extended model is also not available for the time being and is unlikely to return for the foreseeable future.

Tesla’s Cybertruck Is Now Driving Autonomously, But There’s A Catch

The Cybertruck was reportedly driving itself at Giga Texas, along with a fleet of other vehicles. Is this a sign of bigger things to come from Tesla?

That said, the more affordable Long Range Model Y is now available. But over the northern border, availability is not a common theme.

In Canada, it’s reported that Tesla is currently offering CA$16,590 off the Cyberbeast and CA$13,790 off the AWD Cybertruck. Tesla lists more than 4,000 2024 Cybertrucks in U.S. inventory, but barely more than 70 were reportedly available in Canada this week. With uncertainty surrounding tariff costs that will affect every automaker, it’s unclear how long deals like these will be available.
