There are several things that Magnus Walker is known for. He has his own signature line of Hot Wheels and Nike shoes, as well as Momo steering wheels, despite not being a race car driver. He’s become an icon not just in the automotive space but also with his sense of style as the “Urban Outlaw.” But beyond those things, Walker is best known as a staunch Porsche 911 fan and collector, with a lineup of German sports cars that he personally customized.
But Walker’s recent work isn’t limited to the Stuttgart-based automaker. Just like his work with TWR, the automotive personality collaborated with Automobili Pininfarina, the design house known for its work for Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo, to create a Battista that’s unlike any other. Of note, only 150 units of the electric hypercar are to be made after the car’s first public debut in 2019.
A Collaboration Born Out Of A Custom Sneaker
The project, known as “The Dream,” was a collaborative work by Walker and Automobili Pininfarina’s chief design officer, Dave Amantea. According to Amantea, the two met each other and bonded over a custom pair of sneakers that he was wearing at the 2022 Monterey Car Week, followed by “a lot of wine, beer, and food.” The two became friends and years later, Amantea proposed to Walker to collaborate and create a one-off Battista.

Here’s every version of Pininfarina’s all-electric hypercar with a unique touch.
Incorporating his signature color blocking and motorsport livery ideas, Walker’s Battista was designed with an organic, flowing styling – not through digital methods but by using tape, photos, and intuition. The design includes complex multi-axis lines that were extremely difficult to apply because each panel was painted individually.
A Truly Bespoke Cabin With Hidden Easter Eggs
Inside, the one-of-one Battista features fashion-inspired elements, especially on the seat backs, which are described as sculptural, standalone art pieces. There are also Easter eggs and bespoke details hidden throughout the car – in the A-pillars, B-pillars, center console, under the active rear wing, and beneath the seats. Automobili Pininfarina even developed a completely new textile specifically for this car.

The collaboration between Amantea and Walker is a feature that Pininfarina also offers to its clientele, allowing them to be deeply involved in designing their nearly-1,900-horsepower and multi-million-dollar hypercar. Beyond mandated safety equipment, almost every part of the hypercar can be customized – the company can even create a topless version for you, just like what Michael Jordan did with this one-off Battista Targamerica.
