Jaguar Retires F-Pace With Subtle 90th Anniversary And Powerful SVR 575 Models

Key Takeaways

  • Celebratory editions of Jaguar F-Pace unveiled.
  • F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition brings subtle design changes.
  • F-Pace SVR 575 is the most powerful F-Pace with impressive driving performance.

Jaguar has unveiled a special edition of its F-Pace SUV meant to celebrate the brand’s history and send the model off on a high note. The model is named the F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition, and it joins the F-Pace SVR 575, which was announced earlier this year. Both bring aesthetic changes and new features to the attractive SUV, but the SVR 575 takes things a step further with a bump in power.

As Jaguar is planning on turning into a wholly electric brand in the near future, it’s setting about killing off all of its combustion models this year. This means the XF, E-Pace, F-Pace, and F-Type will all be sent to the junkyard in the sky to make way for three new electric models set to sit on the Jaguar electrified Architecture, including a $125,000 four-door GT. For now, we get to say goodbye to the combustion lineup, and these versions will command premiums of their own as Jaguar makes the transition to higher echelons of luxury.

F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition

The first edition is more of a celebration of Jaguar as a whole instead of just the F-Pace, but it brings along great touches celebrating 90 years of motoring history. These specific models are not for America yet, but once we know more, we’ll update this article.

“F-Pace has given new clients to the brand a choice of models from the efficient plug-in Electric Hybrid to the high-performance F-Pace SVR. As we prepare for an all-electric future, the 90th Anniversary Edition is a fitting tribute to nine decades of pioneering design, performance and innovation.”

– Rawdon Glover, Jaguar Managing Director

The model features 90th anniversary badging with R-Dynamic exterior design cues and a choice of features such as diamond-turned alloy wheels, privacy glass, a panoramic sunroof, and 3D camera technology. The changes are subtle but add a unique element to the brand’s best-selling vehicle of all time at 328,000 sold. As much as we’d appreciate this model here, we’re much more excited about the SVR 575 already on sale.

F-Pace SVR 575

This is the true holy grail of the F-Pace lineup, as it’s the most powerful F-Pace ever produced, with the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 bumped up to 575 PS, hence the name, which translates to 567 horsepower in freedom units. Combined with the 516 lb-ft of torque on tap, the vehicle can scoot from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

Jaguar Could Be Looking To China For Help On Its Next EV

Jaguar has had a partnership with Chery for over a decade, but this would be their first joint EV.

It features most of the same changes as the regular F-Pace SVR, including a black exterior pack and performance-optimized aero kit, along with special features for the 575 like 22-inch forged alloy wheels with Diamond Turned finish and Satin technical gray contrast. On the inside, you’re greeted with suede and leather, along with quite a few SVR badges, but where the SUV really shines is in its driving character, which CarBuzz loved when we drove a unique 2023 Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 last year.
