Key Takeaways

- 20-inch Core wheel design improves range, a new tread pattern improves refinement and comfort.
- A new Tactical Gray interior color scheme is also available.
Tesla has introduced new options for the Cybertruck Foundation Series. First spotted by X user Sawyer Merritt, the electric pickup receives a new interior color and a wheel/tire combo that increases range. The new 20-inch Core wheel design and aero covers make use of a different tread pattern and compound.
This boosts range up to 340 miles for the all-wheel drive version and 320 miles for the tri-motor Cyberbeast. With all-terrain tires, the former is rated at 318 miles, while the Cyberbeast manages 301 miles. Aside from that, the road-biased tire is claimed to improve on-road comfort and efficiency. The aero wheel cover design is slightly different, and they appear smaller than the ones we’ve seen before. The Cybertruck receives 35-inch all-terrain tires as standard.

New Tactical Gray Interior Color
Moving inside, the interior of the Cybertruck Foundation Series can now be specified with a Tactical Gray interior color scheme. The difference is subtle, but it removes the white dashboard trim and replaces it with a Tactical Gray inlay that blends in with the rest of the cabin. It’s not as eye-catching, but it would seem that Tesla fans and customers prefer this look. The same can’t be said of the new aero wheel cover, which hasn’t garnered much support.

There’s no word yet on pricing, but we assume both are no-cost options. In recent weeks, the Cybertruck has received several updates, including a new off-road update that introduced several new features. This includes ‘Overland’ and ‘Baja’ Off-Road drive modes, a Terrain Slider that adjusts the suspension for different road surfaces, trail assist, locking differentials, and even an enhanced tent mode.
Available On The Exclusive Foundation Series
Aside from the new wheels and interior colors, the Tesla Cybertruck is available with 11 wrap options. As a reminder, the Foundation Series is only available for early reservation holders and commands a $20,000 premium over the base MSRP. That means a Cyberbeast Foundation Series would set buyers back $120,000.

Chinese Automaker Thinks It Can Do A Better Cybertruck Than Tesla
Dongfeng, one of China’s biggest automakers, has revealed a new concept truck at Auto China. Does it remind you of anything?
While expensive, it is very well-equipped, receiving Full-Self Driving (Supervised) semi-autonomous driving technology, all-terrain tires, premium accessories, and limited edition laser-etched badging as standard. If that’s just too much cash for you to spend on a truck, keep in mind that cheaper Cybertruck models will arrive eventually. A single-motor RWD version will be offered for $60,990 but will only reach customers from 2025.
