  • This year’s Lamborghini Esperienza Giro Japan was focused on the island of Okinawa.
  • Among the cars that participated included two Huracan STOs and a classic Countach.
  • Lamborghini also delivered the first Revuelto in Japan during the event.

For each of the past seven years, Lamborghini has organized a special driving tour for its Japanese owners and earlier this month, returned for 2024 with another iteration of Lamborghini Esperienza Giro Japan.

This year’s event was held primarily on the island of Okinawa and visited some other islands. More than 20 of the finest creations from the Italian car brand attended, including a new Huracan Sterrato, a classic Countach, and the hardcore Huracan STO. If this is what Lamborghini ownership is like, then we want in.

The event started on April 24 at Ryukyu Hotel and Resort Nashiro Beach. Owners then hit the road to enjoy the south of Okinawa and drove across Nirai Kanai Bridge in Nanjo City. They were then greeted at the hotel by the first Revuelto delivered in Japan.

The following day, the group of Lamborghini enthusiasts headed to Sesoko Island where they had lunch before ending the day at The Ritz Carlton Okinawa. For the final day of driving, participants headed towards the northernmost tip of Okinawa island.

Lamborghini was born as a dream car, and for it to stay as a dream car, we place great importance on staying in touch with our customers through various services and events even after they have bought their cars,” head of Lamborghini Japan Davide Sfrecola said. “At this year’s Lamborghini Esperienza Giro Japan, which is the seventh one, I am very happy to meet Lamborghini owners in Okinawa where nature is in abundance.”

If I was fortunate enough to attend and given the chance to choose which car to drive, I’d properly have opted for one of the two Huracan STOs. While not the fastest Lamborghini produced over the past few years, some have described the STO as the sharpest handling car ever adorned with the Lamborghini badge. For roads like this, it seems perfect.
