Chevrolet has released pricing for the 2025 Equinox, the all-new crossover unveiled earlier this year. There are three trim levels – LT, RS, and Activ – one fewer than the outgoing model, available in LS, LT, RS, and Premier. This being a brand-new model, the entry-level model has a starting price of $29,995, $2,000 more than the outgoing LS trim but nearly $1,000 cheaper than last year’s LT trim.
Despite being comprehensively designed for MY2025, Chevrolet has retained the turbocharged 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp. Front-wheel drive models receive a CVT and 175 lb-ft of torque. Opting for all-wheel drive nets you an eight-speed automatic transmission and 203 lb-ft of torque. Vehicles equipped with AWD command an additional $2,000 over their FWD counterparts.

Entry-Level LT Is Well-Equipped
The compact SUV is comprehensively specced, with Chevrolet noting it has more equipment than several rivals. An 11.3-inch screen is standard, and it is 3.3 inches bigger than the infotainment displays in the RAV4 LE, CR-V LX, and Tucson SE. The Escape Active makes do with a seven-inch screen. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and remote start are standard on the base Equinox.

It’s a showdown between the new Equinox and the trusty RAV4.
Adaptive cruise control is standard on the Equinox and all its rivals, except for the Escape. However, all Equinox crossovers get a wireless device charger at no extra cost. Despite the generous standard equipment, the $29,995 Equinox is similarly priced to its rivals. The LT wears 17-inch wheels, a model-specific grille, front fascia, and cloth seats.
New Activ Trim Level Is The Most Expensive
Moving on to the $34,395 Equinox RS, the mid-spec trim receives RS-specific styling, black-painted mirrors, badges and exterior trim, roof rails, and standard 19-inch wheels (20-inch wheels are available). Inside, the Equinox RS receives a flat-bottomed steering wheel and Evotex seating with Torch Red/Santorini Blue stitching and RS debossed emblems on the front seat headrests. All models benefit from Chevrolet’s new design language. As a result, the new Equinox borrows styling cues from the larger Tahoe/Suburban and the all-new Traverse.
Finally, we have the $34,395 Activ, which is new for MY2025. Aimed at more adventurous consumers, this variant receives 17-inch machined wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires and Evotex/microfiber upholstery with ‘Activ’ stitching on the front seats, to name a few features. All trims receive the Chevy Safety Assist suite, which includes forward collision assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic braking, and lane-keep assist.
All pricing mentioned here does excludes Chevrolet’s $1,395 destination charge.
