Rivian Has Found A Way To Quickly Move Its Inventory This Month

Rivian has started to make itself known to Americans. The California-based EV startup has recently begun running its first-ever national advertising campaign, telling us that it needs more customers getting inside its R1S SUV and R1T Truck. That ad campaign goes hand-in-hand with a brand-new promo that makes it easier to drive home a Rivian, but there’s a catch – you won’t have any flexibility for the vehicle you’re getting.

Called the “Nothing But Adventure” promo, Rivian is offering a $0 down payment scheme for customers that want to lease their vehicles. The only problem is, the promo is only valid if you shop online in the R1 Shop, which means choices are limited to pre-configured R1S and R1T models; the customer’s preferred combination of features, wheels, interior color, or even the paint job.

Only Applies To One R1 Configuration

Rivian’s zero down payment lease promo is only valid for the facelifted 2025 R1 models with Dual Motor and Max Battery configuration, enhanced with Performance Upgrade. So, no, the exceptionally good tri-motor configuration isn’t part of the promo. Whichever the body type, you get an EV with 665 horsepower and 829 lb-ft of torque that can sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, or faster than most cars you see on the road today. That’s paired with an EPA-estimated 420 miles of range.

Older Rivian Trucks And SUVs Get Some TLC Via OTA

The startup EV maker’s latest OTA brings its aging models up to speed with the newer ones.

With Rivian covering $6,500 of the down payment (plus a $7,500 EV credit to be applied directly to the lease), customers are only due a $500 deposit, the first monthly payment, and an $895 acquisition fee at signing. Of note, the company may or may not waive the security deposit, depending on the customer’s qualification, plus there are additional fees that will cover tax, title, license, registration, and lessor documentation.

High-Spec R1 Models Are Up For Grabs

Tinkering around the R1 Shop, with the location set to Miami, Florida, we’ve found several R1S and R1T examples currently up for grabs. Monthly lease values range from $1,018 to $1,116, depending on the options that go with the EV. The best part is, the amount due at signing goes as low as $2,461. The best part is, customers can choose to add a down payment amount they can afford to lower their monthly payment further.

Of course, there are things to remember about Rivian’s “Nothing But Adventure” promo. The company’s leasing offer is only available in select states, and it can’t be combined with other offers unless permitted. Customers should also take delivery of their Rivian on or before May 31, 2025, so there’s a time constraint to availing this promo.
