2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Isn’t As Expensive As We Thought

The Audi Q6 e-tron launched to much excitement earlier this year. As the marque’s first fully-electric SUV in a hugely important segment, it has to outclass rivals on several fronts, including range. While the estimates stack up well against competitors, pricing is also a major factor. The brand has now revealed local pricing for the Q6 e-tron, with the range kicking off at $63,800 for the base model.

That gets you into the entry-level Q6 e-tron RWD, which boasts a single electric motor on the rear axle. It develops 302 horsepower (322 hp with launch control), which is enough to get it to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. All Q6 e-tron models are available across three trims, namely Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Even the base models are well-equipped, with the Premium receiving 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, LED head- and taillights, Audi advanced key, and a 14.5-inch MMI touch display as standard.

Three Models With Three Trims To Choose From

Moving up to the Premium Plus adds all the Premium features along with a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, heated rear seats and steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and an augmented reality head-up display. On paper, the Premium Plus sounds like the sweet spot, but those requiring more luxury can opt for the Prestige. This range-topping trim receives adaptive air suspension, LED headlights with seven configurable DRL signatures, and a 10.9-inch front passenger screen for the MMI system.

The Q6 e-tron quattro receives the same standard features across the respective trim options. The higher starting price of $65,800 is largely down to the addition of all-wheel drive and an additional electric motor on the front axle. As a result, this variant boasts 422 hp (456 hp with launch control), which cuts the 0-60 mph time down to 4.9 seconds. 19-inch wheels are standard, but customers can opt for 20-inch designs at extra cost.

SQ6 e-tron Gets Slightly More As Standard

Things are slightly different for the range-topping SQ6 e-tron. The performance-oriented model kicks off at $72,900 for the Premium trim, with all models benefitting from 20-inch wheels, sport adaptive air suspension, heated front seats with a massage function, and carbon micro-twill interior trim. The Premium Plus adds heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof. The Prestige gains all the toys included in the aforementioned Q6 e-tron Prestige models. As a reminder, the SQ6 e-tron has up to 509 hp with launch control, enabling it to reach 60 mph in a brisk 4.1 seconds.

Audi has also launched the US-specific configurator for the Q6 e-tron, Q6 e-tron quattro, and SQ6 e-tron. Looking at the range-topping model, options are relatively limited and include metallic paint finishes ($595), pearl effect paint ($595), a Convenience package ($1,900), a Black optic package ($650), and a panoramic sunroof ($1,450). Pricing for the lineup is relatively competitive and undercuts the Porsche Macan EV – with which the Q6 e-tron shares its PPE platform – by thousands of dollars. Let’s not forget that an RS Q6 e-tron is also in the cards, but this variant is only likely to launch sometime in 2025.
