Novitec’s ‘The Joker’ Is A Ferrari 296 GTS You Have To Take Seriously

Novitec is one of those companies that can make Ferraris even cooler than what they already are. Some of its creations include a 1,045-horsepower SF90 XX and a screaming 12Cilindri, but probably the German tuner’s greatest work is its N-Largo widebody kit, which can be used in both the 296 GTB and its drop-top counterpart, the 296 GTS. Customers have plenty of colors to choose from when getting their Ferraris modified, which brings us to this – a purple-and-gold 296 GTS.

Novitec calls this “The Joker.” While we don’t agree with its name – since it looks more like the Ferrari of a Lakers superstar rather than a supercar inspired by Batman’s archnemesis – it’s one of the most head-turning versions of the 296 GTS we’ve ever seen.

A Serious Take On The 296 GTS

Since it wears Novitec’s N-Largo kits, The Joker comes with a full carbon fiber widebody conversion – found on the bumpers, hood, front and rear fenders, side skirts, and rear panel – effectively increasing the width of the 296 GTS by 4.7 inches. This spec went for the ducktail spoiler option, while the Vossen wheels are finished in black, measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 at the back.

If you must modify a Ferrari, Novitec is the place to take it for tasteful enhancement. And a lot more soul.

There’s not much customization seen inside except for the quilted white seats with yellow accents to match the exterior. It’s unclear whether this Novitec 296 GTS also comes with the optional adjustable KW coilovers and hydraulic nose lift, but it’s evident that it has got the lowering springs based on its stance. But the best of the upgrades aren’t seen, mainly found behind the seats.

An Expensive Upgrade Fit For A Supervillain

Novitec’s N-Largo package comes with powertrain enhancements, including new turbo inlet pipes, high-flow catalytic converters, stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system, and optional gold-plated heat shielding and carbon fiber exhaust tips. The result is 856 horsepower, which is 37 more horses than the standard 296 GTS right off the Ferrari factory.

Novitec didn’t disclose how much was spent on The Joker, but considering the slew of upgrades it got, including the ever-expensive composite body kits, it likely comes with a serious price tag that even Arthur Fleck can’t afford.
