• Stellantis will offer America250 special editions from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands.
  • These vehicles celebrate America and the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
  • An AI-driven ad has been launched, with narration from deceased voiceover actor Kevin Yon.

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and Stellantis has announced Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram will serve as the exclusive automotive sponsors of America250. The latter is a “bipartisan organization charged by Congress to lead the commemoration.”

While it’s a little odd that a Netherlands-based conglomerate would be representing America, it gets even weirder. As part of the collaboration, America250 special editions will soon be revealed by the various brands.

Considering Chrysler’s lineup is made exclusively in Canada, we’ll be getting at least one America250 edition that isn’t even made in the United States. This gives off some serious ‘Imported from Detroit’ vibes as most of the brand’s lineup was Canadian at the time that famous ad was released.

Speaking of the iconic commercial, Stellantis tapped its narrator to voice a new spot. However, there was a problem as Kevin Yon passed away in 2018. To get around this, the company used AI and past recordings of Yon’s voice – with the permission of his family – to create an all-new ad called ‘America Made Us.’

The minute long video is heavy on nostalgia as it shows the classic Chrysler 300 and Willys MB. We also get a brief glimpse of the Chrysler Firepower engine, which was their first Hemi V8.

The ad also shows modern vehicles as well as the Halcyon concept. These images are mixed in with activities such as football games, bonfires, and exploring nature.

We can expect to learn more about the partnership in the coming months, but Stellantis’ North American headquarters will be dressed in an America250-themed wrap ahead of Memorial Day. The company will also be providing a fleet of vehicles to America250.
