An electrified version of the BMW 1 Series is expected to be launched when production on the Bavarian brand’s smallest model comes to an end, according to BMW’s Bernd Koerber. But unlike the commercial failure known as the i3, BMW knows that this car has to be both impressive and affordable (not to mention reliable).
