The 2025 Infiniti QX55 Is Here

Key Takeaways

  • Infiniti reveals pricing for the MY2025 QX55, with the base Luxe trim retailing for $50,150.
  • The QX55 arrives for MY2025 with no changes.
  • Prices also remain the same as MY2024.
  • The QX55 has a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine mated to a CVT, offering 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

Infiniti has announced pricing for the 2025 QX55, the brand’s rakish, coupe-like crossover that rivals the BMW X4, Audi Q5 Sportback, and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Coupe. The automaker has made no changes for the new model year, which means the QX55 faces stiff competition in this highly competitive segment.

Three Trims Are Available, And They’re All Well-Equipped

For around $5,000 more, the Essential trim introduces more luxury features, including a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system. For audiophiles, that’s worth the extra cost, but the mid-spec QX55 also ships with satellite navigation, climate-controlled front seats, and rain-sensing front wipers (which should be standard). Additional safety features include a 360-degree monitor (with Moving Object Detection) and traffic sign recognition.

Lastly, the top-spec Sensory retails for $58,650. It receives everything the Essential trim gets but adds a head-up display, heated rear seating, and classy semi-aniline leather upholstery. Other tasteful touches include black maple open-pore wood trim, metallic trim plates in the cargo area, upgraded ambient lighting, and a motion-activated tailgate.

Just The One Engine? Yes, And It’s Mated To A CVT

Regardless of the trim, the 2025 QX55 has just one engine option. It’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that develops 268 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Those are respectable outputs and allow the QX55 to sprint to 60 mph in a claimed 6.4 seconds. However, the CVT isn’t well-suited to performance driving and lets down the overall package, as rivals are fitted with smooth-shifting automatic transmissions. It’s worth noting the QX55 receives all-wheel drive as standard.

Pricing For The 2025 Infiniti QX80 Moves Large SUV Into Escalade Territory

The replacement for the QX80 has finally arrived. With prices topping out at over $110,000, Infiniti’s large SUV aims to lure in Escalade buyers.

That being said, the QX55 does undercut its rivals on pricing, so those looking for a bargain in this segment may be willing to sacrifice a few drivetrain refinements in return for a couple of thousand dollars. The QX55 was introduced for MY2022 and hasn’t received significant updates. We’re surprised that nothing has been updated for 2025, so it is possible that we can look forward to a mid-cycle refresh for MY2026. Infiniti has been in Lexus’ shadow for many years, but the new QX80 SUV is a sign that things are changing over at Infiniti. The automaker knows that change is needed and plans on offering more competitive products by updating existing models and introducing new cars. All 2025 QX55 pricing mentioned above excludes Infiniti’s $1,350 destination charge.
