This Is The Ferrari 296 GTB Ronald McDonald Special

  • This 296 is finished in a combination of Rosso Corsa and Giallo yellow.
  • Ferrari has also installed the optional carbon fiber wheels and Assetto Fiorano package on the supercar.
  • The 296 GTB’s plug-in hybrid 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 is good for 819 hp.

We may have just found the perfect Ferrari 296 GTB for a McDonald’s executive up for auction in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9-9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”);
}
else{

adpushup.triggerAd(“6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657”);
} });

This 296 GTB is equipped with the desirable Assetto Fiorano package and adorned in an odd combination of Rosso Corsa with Giallo yellow accents. The yellow stretches across much of the front bumper, and extends over the hood. It then continues with a pair of racing stripes over the roof and rear decklid. Much of the rear fascia is also finished in Giallo.

Make no mistake, we think red looks superb on a Ferrari. Yellow also looks fantastic on a car like the 296 GTB. However, we don’t think they look good when combined like this.

window._taboola = window._taboola || [];
_taboola.push({
mode: ‘thumbnails-a-mid’,
container: ‘taboola-mid-article’,
placement: ‘Mid Article’,
target_type: ‘mix’
});

target_type: ‘mix’
});

Fortunately, there is still plenty to like about this 296 GTB. For example, the addition of the Assetto Fiorano package means it features Multimatic’s advanced fixed-rate spool valve dampers, stiffer springs, and some subtle aerodynamic upgrades. The SBX Cars auction also shows it sits on the available carbon fiber wheels.

The interior is also a lot less offensive than the exterior. Most of the cabin is bathed in black leather, black Alcantara, and glossy carbon fiber. It also features red racing harnesses and has carbon fiber-backed bucket seats. The Ferrari has also only been driven 81 km (50 miles) and will hopefully be purchased by someone who isn’t afraid to drive it.

Powering the 296 GTB is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 pumping out 654 hp and supplemented with an electric motor, making for a combined 819 hp and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. Mated to the engine is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While the 296 GTB isn’t quite as powerful as Ferrari’s other hybrid supercar, the SF90 Stradale, it is rear-wheel drive only, meaning there’s a lot of fun to be had behind the wheel – once you forget how terrible the two-tone exterior looks.
