Mansory Has Pushed Beyond The Boundaries Of Distaste With Three-Unit Purosangue

Even the name of Mansory’s take on the Ferrari Purosangue is over the top. The tuning company’s version is called the Pugnator, which is meant to mean “fighter.” Someone who engages in combat. We’ll leave you to decide if that means it is fighting against your eyes in an effort to look appealing, but Mansory has just taken a step to make it even more extreme.

The Pugnator Tricolore is an Italian flag tribute to, well, something. A one-off (or three-unit; Mansory doesn’t seem quite sure) creation that was presented for the first time in Monaco, at the Top Marques show going on this weekend.

Mansory’s Body Kit Makes The Ferrari Almost Unrecognizable

Whatever your feelings toward Ferrari’s first-ever SUV – including whether it really is an SUV – there’s a good chance you think the Pugnator makes it worse. Mansory runs the V12 SUV through the accessory aisle at the world’s most expensive Pep Boys, adding carbon fiber canards, wings, baubles, and over-fenders to nearly every surface of the car.

While we’re sure the quality and expertise are impeccable, the look is nothing short of polarizing.

Then the Tricolore turns it up to undici.

Mansory’s bodywork for the Pugnator is already extreme, but the Tricolore makes it even wilder. Start with the immense new rear wing, which sits below the already gigantic dual-plane wing Mansory added the first time around. Yes, that gives the Tricolore three wings as well as three colors.

CAUTION: Mansory’s Ferrari Purosangue May Cause You To Lose Faith In Humanity

Despite starting with the most elegant and tasteful super utility vehicle on the planet, Mansory has found a way to make Deadpool look handsome.

The Pugnator Tricolore also comes with a new rear bumper. The two pairs of stacked tailpipes are gone. Instead, all four come out directly in the center of the back of the SUV.

A Surprisingly Tasteful Interior

Mansory’s red, white, and green color palette on the exterior, which matches the Italian flag and gives the SUV its name, is a truly incredible detail. Look closely and you can see that the green, white, and red paint extends into the visible weave of the forged carbon fiber body parts. This isn’t just a tinted clear coat on the top; Mansory has added the color to the resin used for its carbon fiber parts. It looks stunning.

Move to the inside, and the Tricolore scheme continues. It’s actually quite tasteful in the cabin, with white leather perforated in a hexagonal pattern on nearly every surface. Red piping and green accents are placed around the interior, with asymmetrical designs to keep the flag motif intact.

There is even a new starlight headliner in this beast. It lights up the hexagonal perforations, as well as the Mansory name and logo on the headliner for an extra luxurious touch.

The Mansory Speranza Is A Gaudy Reworked G-Class Landaulet Conversion Just In Time For Summer

Mansory has caught Mercedes-Benz and Maybach slacking with its own G-Class Landaulet convertible conversion, flush with plenty of additional add-ons.

And, of course, Mansory has added some horsepower to this Italian thoroughbred. The 6.5-liter V12 engine leaves the factory with 715 horsepower and 526 lb-ft of torque. This one brings the total to 745 hp and 538 lb-ft thanks to the new exhaust and some ECU tweaks.

Mansory’s website says it is only making one of these Pugnator Tricolore special editions, but its social media says three. Three seems more fitting, and more on theme. If it can find three buyers.
